Kettlewell to Starbotton
Walk 5- A family walk - Kettlewell- Starbotton- 4.5 miles- From Kettlewell car park proceed across bridge. Turn right through left hand gate and follow track to right climbing slightly uphill alongside wall. Track zig -zags and climbs steeply emerging at Moor Top Farm (now an outward bound centre). Enter farmyard and proceed to left of farm house and through field. After gate bear right looking for opening in wall and cross further field diagonally. Through gate and path starts to descend towards Starbotton through woods. (look for Orchids on bank in May/June). Cross bridge and into Starbotton (Fox and Hounds recommended but closed on Mondays). Leave pub and retrace steps across river. Cross bridge and turn left. Follow distinct path back to Kettlewell alongside river.
