Buckden Triangle
Walk 4 - Buckden Triangle- 7 miles- A short but excellent walk suitable for families. Start from Buckden car park and follow old coach road up steep hill (towards Cray). The track levels out for some distance. After the 'open section' look for gateway in wall and descend steeply to the stream and the White Lion pub at Cray. Cross the stream and road passing to the rear of the pub.
Follow footpath on the same contour for 4 miles passing Scar House (NT). Eventually the path starts to descend through trees to a farm track emerging at Yockenthwaite passing farm. Before bridge turn left to follow left hand river bank to Hubberholme. At Hubberholme (The George public house recommended) follow road (towards Buckden) for 1/4 mile. Turn left on to footpath and follow river to Buckden.
